every time i get a little hope in humanity, i always end up disappointed, angry and depressed. i attended the body worlds exhibit yesterday and the whole experience was stained by the two couples that were behind me in line. they were talking about the upcoming inauguration of our new president. one of the men behind me said he wanted to go to DC "so that he could see Obama's noose". when confronted he tried to say that he said "deck, the place where he will hang out."

sigh!, i'm not sure that explanation was any better.

about fifteen minutes later, the other man said how upset he was because "Obama is staining the white house". *frowns*

i guess i take it all too personal because i am a human as well, and i do not want to be represented by, or associated with, someone like that. i am ashamed for us.
